
Kateryna Haupt (Violin) is a Swiss violinist with Ukrainian origin, who established herself as a popular chamber musician and a solo artist. Her stage presence, virtuosity as well as her warm and vigorous tone excite the public in Switzerland and other countries. Apart from numerous concerts in Ukraine and Switzerland, she appeared as chamber musician on stages of Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, Bulgaria and Israel, both as a part of a orchestra
and solo.
Since 2015, Kateryna Timokhina-Haupt and Anna Artemenko regularly give concerts as Duo Alronk.
In 2017, Kateryna released her first CD “Inspired”, which contained the highlights from her musical career during her academic years at the Zurich University of Arts and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. She finished both degrees with excellence and acquired a Diploma of Solo artist at each university.
Kateryna played joint events with such Swiss personalities as Ueli Maurer, Röbi Koller, Eveline Widmer Schlumpf, Kurt Aeschbacher, Roger Federer, Crista Rigozzi, Annina Frei and Cabaret Duo Divertimento.
Maria Gerter (Piano) Early on, Maria showed a strong inclination and talent for chamber music. She became a multiple prizewinner at the regional and national competitions “Jugend musiziert”, particularly in the categories of piano accompaniment and chamber music. At the age of 16, Maria performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor with the Bad Reichenhaller Philharmoniker as part of the “Young Talents” concert series. In 2006, she won the Grand Prix in Sarre-Union, France, and released the CD “Soledad.”
In 2012, Maria completed her dual studies at the Karlsruhe University of Music, majoring in piano with Roman Zaslavsky and in voice with Prof. Christiane Hampe/Ingrid Haubold. During her studies, she worked as a tutor for several vocal classes and completed an internship in accompaniment at the Theater Ulm.
During this time, she performed extensively as a song accompanist and chamber musician. Maria currently works as a piano accompanist at the Rudolf Steiner School and the Atelierschule Zürich, and serves as a répétiteur for choirs and solo musicians. She has also been the pianist at Bindella Restaurant National in Winterthur for several years, performing classical and jazz music.
